To provide and seek for improvement of the students learning and understanding how technological advances their way of thinking and learning.
Vision:
In order to fulfill this mission, a right vision in mind is necessary. Thus the following principles will be inculcated to students mind and spirit. This vision originates from the concept that dominantly present in the field of education: Experiential Learning. As we spend our time interacting and collaborating with other people, we are able to learn. We are able to adapt to the norms and customs. We are able to absorb and assimilate ourselves of how things process. Just like in technological advances. We cannot be successful educator "with" technology if we do not know the tool itself. We need to put ourselves in the shoes of our students. We learn if we do things in ourselves.
According to Gentry (1990), Experiential learning is participative, interactive, and applied. It allows contact with the environment, and exposure to processes that are highly variable and uncertain. For us to be successful of using technology in our classroom, we need to know how to adapt to it. Technology is always present in our environment and nothing can change that. Thus, following these principles in mind, the following can be achieved:
In and out of class collaboration within students and teachers.
Self-dependence and reliance.
Promotes learning through participative approach.
Engaging learning environment for the students and teachers.
